Title. I'd really appreciate it!
I dled the ISO recently, and when I tried it out, the icon was fine, but this error came up after PSP logo. Any help? Thanks a lot!

few suggestions,
upgrade to 3.30oe as mite need a higher firmware.
enable/disable no-umd from recovery menu.
open the iso file with umdgen and then remake the iso.
compress it to a .cso.
one mite work. worth a try.

Get the 1.50 and 3.30 Sony updaters (of any region, because all are
currently the same), and copy them in the oeupdmaker directory with the names 150.PBP and 330.PBP.
Execute the program, and it will generate the DATA.DXAR file. Although the program will check its
integrity at the end, you can also check it with the following checksums:
CRC32: A0723B56
MD5: DEBFC0488D088C384021231814514DA9
SHA1: 7AB9A6928BD08E26F9BEB18C3A2314AD0C745964
- Copy 330oeflasher and 330oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you
are in any SE/OE version. Move the DATA.DXAR to 330oeflasher directory.
You need 75% battery, although you can skip this if you pressed L+triangle while loading the program.
I'm really confused man. Please answer the following questions:
1.) Why shouldn't I upgrade to 3.40 OE-A?
2.) If I do upgrade, should bleach work, and will anything else NOT work if I do upgrade?
3.) Can you please PLEASE post clearer instructions, I'm really confused ATM

only reason i say update is cos newer game will more likely need higher firmware to run. its like if you stick a umd in and it says you need to update.
you wont lose anything by updating but more games will run.
to update, its the same as updating from 1.5 to 310oe-a apart from you use the game150 folder instead of the game folder.

DJ or anyone else. Please post CLEAR instructions on what I, a 3.10 OE-a user, should do in order to update. I REALLY want to play BLEACH

1st you need 3 file
1) 3.40oe-a
2) 1.50 sony updater
3) 3.40 sony updater
After you get those files, copy oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you are in any SE/OE version.
Then you rename 1.50 sony updater to 150.PBP and 3.40 sony updater to 340.PBP and copy these 2 file to oeupdmaker.
execute the program by going to your psp menu. Go to Game then Memory Stick and select the program.
After that it will generate the DATA.DXAR file in your eoupdmaker.
Copy 340oeflasher and 340oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you are in any SE/OE version.
Then cut the DATA.DXAR file and paste it to 340eoflasher.
Execute the program* by going to your psp menu. Go to Game then Memory Stick and select that program.
And your done.
*Note that there are 2 programs. One is the 1.50 EBoot and another 1 is 3.40 flasher. When you execute the program 2nd time DO NOT select the 1.50 Eboot. Select 3.40 Flasher.

When you said I need 3 things, you said 3.4 OE-A, what do you mean? Is there an installer for 3.4 OE-A that I need, or what? Please, PLEASE give me links to all 3 of those things, as I've search for 15 minutes with no avail yet.

3.40oe-a is a the frimware you need to download.
after you download this, you should know the answer to 2nd and 3rd question.
file for 1.50

omg if I go to psp/game, I see no psp/game150
Damnit, there are so many loopholes, it's gonna take forever. Please just answer the question

there is also already an EBOOT.PBP in the oedm so I'm just posting the other two in there anyway
OMG MAN it's not running 3.40 OE-A Update Maker, instead it gives me the error 8002014C

psp/game150 is not in psp/game, it is in the psp folder
those EBOOT.PBP in oeupdmaker, oeupdmaker%, 340oeflasher and 340oeflasher% you don't have to care about them.
you just have to rename the 1.50 sony updater EBOOT.PBP and 3.40 sony updater EBOOT.PBP to 150.PBP and 340.PBP and copy it to the oeupdmaker folder.

souless, I did change them.
I can't find psp150 anywhere, so I just put it in psp/game, I deleted 340 and 340%, since WinZIP accidentely pasted them all there, and I renamed them too!
But souless, this is the major sucky part: when I click on the update thing, it gives me an 800... something error, with a C at the end.
I'm sorry for being such a pain, but I really wanna update, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help.

maybe you try backup your memory stick, after that format the memory stick then try upgrade to 3.40 again.

soul, man, I'm extremely confused..
I know this is hard to ask of you, but could you downgrade to 3.10 OE-A and try to go step by step, telling me what to do to get to 3.40 OE-A? If it's not working, then I dunno what to do.
Just on a side note, if it matters, I'm kinda scared to delete eboot.pbp that's with the 150.pbp and 340.pbp, will that make a difference in making it work?

you say that your are using 3.10oe-a but you didn't have game150 folder.
so i'm telling you to backup all your games, music, video, and savegames files in your memory stick.
after that using your psp to format the memory stick.
then follow the step i given you previously.
