hi i just got a new psp, i used to have one back in the 1.50 days, but i sold it and now i have bought one off a mate for $100 with all accesories and a 512mb card

I remeber i usedto be able to put games on my memory card with 1.5, but this psp is 2.6,

just wondering what steps i have to take to be able to play scarface off the memory card, i have a umd disk, and also if i downgrade, will i still be able to use the internet?

How does everything work these days, and ive got no clue about computers, so help a brother out verbally lol.

first of all, you dont need GTA to update a 2.60, you only need it if you have a 2.81-3.03 firmware.

Your first step is to upgrade your psp to 2.71 since thats the best firmware to downgrade from.


Second, go here for instructions and the files that you may need.

ok ive done all that and i now have firmware 2.71 and ive run the downgrader and it says to wait for the red screen but no red screen has come up when i select photos.

any suggestions?
