xbox 360 not playing games

Bought a used xbox 360. Plays cd's and dvd's, but when I insert games, I get the "please insert into xbox 360 console." Any ideas on how to get this resoved?

Nah. Not at all. Just trying to play games. I bought used and like I said plays cd's and dvd's but no xbox 360 games. Any suggestions?

you should return it that means the someone tried to mod it without putting the unique dvd key so you cant do shit wit it.

so just return it.

you could probally get a free xbox 360 if your bought it form the store .

just asy you sold me a defective console. most stores gauntee quailty.

so if you bought it from a store then return it

if they didnt put the key in it then it wouldnt play cds or anything, it wouldnt respond in the console besides opening and closing.

No scratches on the discs mikeismad. mjfouline that sounds like a good idea! LOL!

I've been hearing so many different things on fixing so I'm not sure what direction to go it. I've heard replacing the laser, replacing the dvd drive.

if it was bought from a store your best bet would be to take it back and if you bought it from a person then make sure you tell everyone not to buy from them again.
