i recently got a psp from a friend, and i remember them saying things about it being hacked, when i hold the top shoulder buttons at start up it does to go a different screen, i want to be able to play my psp online and use the web browser

if i update it will it brick my system or will it just go back to normal, or is there a way to make it go back to normal?

go to the normal menu, settings or sytem settings or watever then system information and lemme know what system version it is

freakin awesome dude u should be able to play all ur games online and browse the internet as well as play homebrew and iso's
read these threads on all the stuff you can do bro!!!!
3.40OE-A is exactly the same as the official sony 3.40 firware, its just custom, and better :)
