Dont worry about modchips m8, they are really quite useless nowadays.

The only real reason you would want a modchip is to unbrick a psp, or have dual firmware... But they are tricky to install (have to solder them on to a MB)... and since nowadays its cheaper to get a new motherboard or a entirely new psp.

Since you have a custom firmware like OE-A, you don't need anything else. :)

It doesn't matter if your motherboard is TA-082 or not, they install exactly the same.
The only reason modchips don't work on TA82 is because the new mobo design has much lower power output, and with modchip attached, the psp won't have enough power to boot up.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...
