if so what can i do then??
I was told that you can play almost any ps game on your psp if you have a ps3 to link it with ???
I dont have or want a ps3 as i just bought a ps2 .
but i would like to play some old crash on my psp.

No, it cannot be connected to ps2. However you might be able to play ps1 games, depends on your firmware. What is your firmware?

it has the latest 3.10???
when i play crash tag team it has a menu iten to link to a ps2 with usb but i tried it and it did nothing??

Wuuu, you are out of luck. 3.03 is the highest firmware you can downgrade from as of now. you can only purchase psx games through ps3.

I see that i should have looked into the firmware befor i bought it .
I paid $40 bucks from a kid for the psp with 7 games and 4 movies and a set of logitec speakers.
so i am not out that much.
I dont have alot of time for gameplay but i do watch some movies on it and I see what all of you are saying about sony locking it up.
is there any options as far as downloading games on my memory card or is that out with the firmware i have ???

Not with 3.10. You could do some major operations like change motherboard or soldering on a mod-chip. But, I'd say your best bet is sell it on ebay and get another one.

I know it's not a BIG issue but you can connect your PSP directly to your PS2 and do something there were a few PS2 games out there that you could link them together with for example Tiger Woods 07 and Madden 07 also had a PSP link feature , so it can be done too bad they didnt emply this feature to more games.

I remember with my gameboy you could link but you had to have the same game in both units.
would be nice if you could link without the game in the other one .

why??
well when you are in the airport and you have to wait 3 hours what do you do....but buy a video ipod and a psp cause you left yours at home.
he also sold me a ipod nano 4gb for $50
