you can play DivX movies... but you have to use linux and mplayer to play DivX... ive been using it for a while now

In a short.. Install Tversity.. There is a new version out for PS3 Support.. Once installed, click start sharing.. once it is running, add files or folders you want to share... On your PS3, go to video, open the Movie or video folder.. If you have DivX or XviD in the folder, hit play and it should play.... Ive been able to play MOST files.. Saves burning the DivX to disc.....
