Hi, new to the board. So far. looking at the diff browser sites did not help. Hoping I can get some help here.

Problem: Just brought PSP. It says the version is 2.71. I was told you can play gba roms and whatnot in there. I am interested in playing them. I learned of this program PSPGBA, and I am pretty sure its the best one out there. I just don't seem to get this thing working. This is a brand new psp, untouched, and untempered with.

Basically, its all from scratch: what do I have to do in order to play these games? A set up instructions would be cool.

search for a downgraded than upgrade it to a custom firmware and then you can do more than just play gba games

So I downgrade to play games...right? Downgradeing to 1.50 I mean.


Why would I need the upgrades for?

u upgrade to a custom firmware so you don't lose any of the new features like playine newer games and playing ps1 games
