Trouble With Yellow Dog Wont Boot Up

Having trouble with my friends yellow dog linux. I type in boot game os and nothing happens. I try to boot into linux and the enter key wont work, and the tab button is now the backspce button. seems as though my keyboard is all screwed up. I just want to boot back to the XMB and erase yellow dog. tried everything and nothing works, now i cant paly any games. any suggestions? thanks.

You are suppost to type "boot-game-os" without quots. Don't forget the hyphens
