right ok. i was always going to invest in a bigger card! Right, ok, yeah I have currently got a 32mb card. I will purchase a 2gb one tonight, should get it sometime next week, i will keep you updated on this thread. Also, when i get it, how do i get the system files currently on the 32mb card onto the 2gb card as I won't be able to make a USB connection through the PSP as there will be no software!

@jin666

Are you already on 3.03 OE? Or do you still need to upgrade?

Ok. Just tried it there. I took out the 32 mb card and loaded up the console. It appears that I can still make a USB connection. That's great. I have backed up the data from the 32 mb card, when the new one arrives, i will put the data onto the new card through the psp, and hopefully complete the update to 3.03 OE-C using the guide. Appreciate the guide,

Jin666

a possible exploit that looks like a homebrew application that runs on 3.30/3.40 and could lead to a downgrader all thanks to him

Just so i can confirm it when it arrives?

Yes but i bought it from the 'Amazon Marketplace' so it's coming from a seller, that is why I want to verify.

Not every time. Someone on here bought one and it turned out to be fake, from amazon.

Yes, hence why im asking. Is there a way to test whether the card is fake (not just by looking at it)

How much did you pay it for? If it's cheap, chances are it's fake.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

Well I paid £22 for a 2gb SanDisk card. Is there any kind of check I can run while the card is in the PSP to identify if it is legitimite?

copy stuff onto it. if it runs, its real, if it doesnt, its fake.

also, make sure its at least an 1900 mb. some fake cards just cheat u out of a few hundred megs, even a gig sometimes.
