I'll explain. If I put it on Zoom the full PSP screen is used but I lose a small area of the PS1 game screen due to the increase in zoom. If I use Full Screen I get the whole PS1 game screen shown but it doesn't use up all of the PSP screen, it leaves black lines around the outside of the PS1 game area giving it a kind of rectangular box look.
Any ideas?

Probably just like a aspect ratio problem right? PSP screen is widescreen and the games are most likely designed to be played with a 4:3 screen ratio. That would explain everything.

Yeah this is defintely a aspect ratio issue. Nothing you can do to fix it, like I said the PS1 games are made to be played on a screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio, while the PSP's screen on the other hand is a widescreen therefore a 16:9 aspect ratio. Nothing you can do, kinda like watching a widescreen movie on a non-widescreen monitor same issue. You can zoom in and cut part of the movie off or view the whole movie but with black bars on top and bottom to make the picture a widescreen image.

Ok, I've found out that 3.03 OE has better compatibiltiy with PAL games than the newer 3.40 OE-A. I have been trying to run PAL Resident Evil 3 and have been unsuccessful, crashing at the WARNING GORE AND VIOLENCE etc. screen. Hence, I would like to downgrade to 3.03 (OE-C) from 3.40 (OE-A). Please instruct me on how?

Hmm, I'm still on 3.40 OE-A. I formatted my memory stick then used that install you gave me. When I went to GAME to run the 3.03 OE-C, there was also a corrupted data icon underneath. Anyway I ran the update and it done the PSP logo bit then told me 'This game cannot be played' or something along those lines!??

I think I need to downgrade to 1.50 again then back up. Can someone please explain how?

no ya dont need to downgrade first and move all the files to GamE150 IT will still work dude its just the installer thinks that u r on 1.5 which thats what they are built for

Not to worry mate I got it working last night. I'm now on 3.03 OE-C, but Resi 3 won't load. I'm getting a hold of an NTSC version and hoping that works.
