i got the SCPH-77006 slim ps2, but i don't know if it's realy modded or not. how can i figure it out ?

also can i use external hdd with this model?

of coaurse it's not modded, unless you got it of some modchip site. adn yes you can use hdd with this model

it is a jap version and depending on where he lives it might be modded. e.g 95% of ps2's baught in malasia are alredy modded. But it is most lickly not modded if u got it from japan.

if i can play copied games, is this mean that it's modded?

what do i realy need before connecting a hard drive?

i have a 80G.B HD & can i use a IDE/USB cable like this one ?

O.K, i downloaded a small game, about 27 M.B (super mario) . i burned it using Alcohol 120% to a 700 M.B CD and it worked great .

But i still don't know how to connect the HDD, it's obvious for me how to transfer games to the HDD using USB.Extreme .

what do i need to make the system reads from Harddisk when it starts up?
