Yeah in all the downgrader guides I see copy the contents of the folder MS_ROOT to your memory stick.
umm ....Whats the memory stick file name? MP_ROOT?

put the BLANK memory card into the psp. then go to psp settings and format the memory card. then open it up through the usb connection. this will contain a folder called MS_ROOT put the contents of the folder on your computer into the msroot on your psp.
