help!! my gta lcs iso is lagging

i dont know why the game isnt running smoothly. whenever the psp loads the data from the memory stick (it does it after every few seconds) the game starts to lag which is very annoying. i am using 3.10 oea and have the following configurations

no umd disabled
kernal tried both, no success
advanced configuration all 3 are disabled

btw i do have a game umd in the drive.

edited: oh and the game is in cso format and it is of 1.57 gb

first off change all advanced configs back to default. Then decompress the cso back to an iso(or rerip the game) Open the iso up with UMDGEM and look for the update subfolder. Delete that sub folder save the iso and do not compress. that should fix it.

well i increased the speed to 333 and now its running fine. is it ok or will this harm my psp???

its fine like that...if you want it to run even smoother rip the radio out of the game, that should take the size of the game down substantially.
