What if a new 360 was bought and the xbox cases were swapped out and the insides like motherboard drive etc from the new 360 were kept, would that work? Looks like I may have to resort to something as my Samsung 360 has started freezing litteraly every 4 minutes while playing games. I can't FREAKING believe Microsoft can get away with releasing all these faulty Xbox 360 consoles! It's Rediculous!!

I agree this is a great console I love playing but M$ should?ve planned this one out a lot better. I wouldn?t bring ethics into the mix $400.00 boat anchor.

YOU REALLY WANT TO GET THEM BACK? MAKE IT AN ISSUE? THEN DON'T GO TO THE STORE CRYING AND SWAPING IT! MAKE IT A WORLD ISSUE AND BOMB THE M$ XBOX CORPORATE OFFICE! he wasnt insulting the mods here, he was insulting the mods at xboxscene and the mods here dont really state their opinion on the situation here because the mods are specific to one forum here they cover them all.

This is my fourth 3RLOD. I bought 2 = $800 they're going back, the fastest way possible, through the store, cases changed to protect the serials. See you next week and the next time too. too late not to buy, already bought the MS crap so no other way but the right way MY WAY (sent it out wait 4-ever, when they say they repair the machine now - do you still get your same machine back, or someone elses repaired machine? if thats the case then its more like a "new console ex-display model with-grubby-mits-all-over-it-and-a-soon-to-fail-dvd-drive-etc-etc-yadda-yadda") you go

Go buy another xbox360 at costco and put the old xbox360 in the new box and return it saying that it no longer works. They will give you a refund for the full amount with out checking any serial numbers or anything. Been there, done that :)
