hey guys,

i searched the forums a little but i couldnt find an answer to this problem. i made a backup of a couple of games i just bought and they dont work. i backed them up the same as i always have with numerous games but my 360 says "unable to read disc... clean it" or what not. so i was wondering if anyone out there knows why that happens and if there is something i can do to fix the problem for the future. sorry if this has been addressed before in the forums and if it has please direct me to the answer. thanks.

What type of media are you using?
how are you backing them up?

i use wxripper to get the iso then i merge the ss files with ss merger and then i put the iso on the disc with DVD Decrypter.

what hacked firmware r u using.
maybe they are not fully stealthed if your are using the iextreme firmware they will not boot

unless they fully stealth patched

damn man i dont even know. i bought it already modded. is there anyway i could find out. all i know is that it was the newest firmware as of like 2 or 3 weeks ago.

fix the dvd file. make sure its the same name as the iso file
i always got unable to read disk or please insert game into 360 console when the dvd file was messed up.

well when i dump the game onto my computer i name the file myself. where does it say the dvd file name.

open the dvd file with notepad and lets say forza 2 would be named
LayerBreak=1913760
vortex-f2mlce.iso

to see if it's patched start Xbox_Backup_Creator then click image tools,stealth check ,choose the iso

if the stealth test fails try find the files here and inject the files in the iso with Schtrom360Xtract or Xbox_Backup_Creator and make the test again

and dont burn with DVD Decrypter, burn with clonecd or imgburn
if you burn with imgburn you need to set the layer break manually

if you burn with clonecd choose the dvd file


before you burn make sure that your burner booktypes DVD+R DL to dvd rom some burners do it automatically like the pioneer others dont support booktyping it depends on your burner

you can download what you need from xbins,download from here "Xbins Auto Connect" to acess xbins ,extract and double click in the batch file then use filezilla to download
