any one no how to get cheats for smackdown vs raw 2006 ? i got an ar max but it didnt have it or enless there is an update some how

i was reading the book i just got the ar max thing at a yard sale today brand new once u put the ar max cd in and it shows codes do u turn it off and put the game in?

the book didnt come with it for some reason i got the new updated codes off codejunkies and some from another site that have the .max file i put it on jump drive put it on memory card should it just work or do i need to do more?

and do i need to enter a master code or some thing? i keep reading about that
