Hi to you all, this is my first thread on this site so please treat me nice:)

I had/have a psp with firmware 2.82 I couldn't enter recovery console on that version or indeed any version.

I managed to update PSP to 3.03 dark Alex. System says 2.60 and firmware say 3.03.

I have tried recovery installers etc.. and can't seem to do anything.

When I press and hold R whilst powering up the PSP always comes up with a black screen and "sony computer entertainment" the umd loads unless I disable auto start, If I start without umd in just get standard blue screen.

Please help

I'm pretty sure you are not on OE. To get to OE, you have to first downgrade to 1.5, then you can upgrade to any OE.

#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe

As far as I can read doing serches on here you don't seem to be able to down grade to 1.5.

if you have 3.03 you can downgrade

but you need gta: lcs unpatched so it has a 2.00 update on it

So which is the best route??????? I have tried some of the PSP-Hacks all in one stuff but the PSP just say "cannot be played"
