FTP keeps disconnecting

I'm using FlashFXP to connect my Xbox to the PC, and it initially connects fine. But when I'm transferring files over it regularly disconnects.
I have to keep reconnecting and resuming the transfer list. Everything transfers in the end, but its irritating.

Its also quite slow transfer. Fastest transfer I can get is 850kbytes/s.

So anyone know what the problem is?
