Everytime i try to copy my backed up file on the pursuit of happyness it get an error message that says " DVD-video reallocation failed. can anyone help me with this please. Thanks

Rip the dvd to your hard drive w/ DVDFab HD Decrypter then open those files thru Shrink or Recode.

If you still get this error then run the file thru FixVTS.
Then open those in Shrink or Recode.

Give that a go.

i did these steps and it is still giving me the same error

it also says that one or more files(mostly VOB file(s)) do nto belong to the corresponding IFO file. then it says DVD-Video reallocation failed. Help please.

Ok - that usually does the trick but here are 3 more options.

Take the file ripped w/ DVDFab and run them through VobBlanker - then open those files in Shrink or Recode. Here's a guide you can just skip to the VobBlanker part - link.

Rerip but this time do movie only.

Not free but has a 21 day free trial - use AnyDVD w/ CloneDVD.
