my xbox gets an IP but ont connect to xbox live, my pc detects my xbox but my xbox wont detect my pc.

my xbox goes into a ethernet card on my computer which is bridged with my onboard card.

ive opened the ports on my firewall. and my router. and still nothing.

i tried using zune windows media player 11. both read but xbox cant.

sometimes its not the ports that are blocked but one thing the xbox needs to use to get your comp is blocked.

and what firewall do u got that would help if you want some more clear anwsers

well i have windows firewall. ive turned it off i also have nortons i was told to try disbling that quickly and still nothing.

your xbox is banned.

you said it cant connect too live and that means its banned and also
when u get banned i heard your ethernet hardware doesn't work on the 360.

it cant be banned it hasnt been updated or been on xbox live for months. on a plus i got my computer to come up on my xbox. not sure how it worked this time

i put my cable into my modem box/router and it worked this timee i tried it like 30 times before.

i then tried to play on xlink and it cant find servers. i think its my modem box... switched companys for faster net and xboxlive hasnt worked since. this companys modems block all ports so you goto open them yourself which sucks.

ive followed the directions from my isp and portforward and nothing seems to work to get xboxlive or xlink. any ideas whatelse it could be?
