OKAY I KNOW Y'ALL GONNA YELL AT ME SINCE THIS PROBABLY HAS BEEN COVERED BEFORE BUT I ONLY SEE IT IN BITS AND PIECES AND I DONT WANNA BRICK MY PSP SO PLEASE BEAR WITH ME

I HAVE A PSP RUNNING 2.60 FIRMWARE THAT I WANNA CONFIGURE TO RUN ISO / CSO ON CUSTOM FIRMWARE

NOW I'M A NEWBIE TO GAMESPEAK

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO AND WHERE CAN I FIND THE RELEVANT INFO

for the start you could push a button on your keyboard named Caps Lock...


you can get relevant infos on www.psp-hacks.com
you should upgrade to 2.80 and use the 2.80 downgrader to go down to 1.5 and then upgrade to 3.XX oe firmware...

From what a lot of people are saying, 3.03OE-C is the most versatile and stable because it has had a chance to have the bugs worked out.But if you have games that require a higher firmware, then you may want to give the 3.30&3.40OE's a whirl..

i cant believe it...but i got this thing to work

so much for following instructions...what a concept

i downgraded with this very clear and helpful guide here:

and i'm now running 3.03 oe-c with the help of this helper:
