Hey, I just have 2 really quick and simple questions about making dvd backups.
1. Say I put my ps2 game in my dvd drive and make a copy. When i take the game out, will there be a burn mark on it or a sign that I have copied the files onto my computer? Or will it be the same?
3. Say I put the ps2 in the dvd drive and copy the files onto my computer. When i'm ready to burn it onto the blank disc, do I take the game out and put the blank disc in? Or do I put the blank disc in the other drive (the cd drive)?
Please help me out...I would greatly appreciate it.
There wouldn't be any "burn" marks since all you're doing is reading.
DVD Decrypter takes either. Personally, better results with DVD-R.
Next, If you have only 1 drive, you have to save ISO file to hard drive, remove original, insert blank DVD, and burn. Obviously, the blank DVD won't burn with the CD drive so, you have to put DVD into DVD burner.
Go back and read your post. Does the question make sense to you??

NO
2. Does dvd decrytor take DVD-R or DVD+R discs?
YES
Edit: I have 1 more if you don't mind.

YES, you switch the discs and burn to a blank DVD. No you can not use a CD drive to either read or burn a DVD game.
