Really though, ive seen this all over and no ones really knows exactly whats going on. Whole lota hype over something supid morethanlikely.
Serioulsy, ps3 people are waiting for the following
iso loader
Gran Theft Auto
Metal Gear Solid
Gran Turismo
SOCOM
and final fantasy somewhere in the mix
oh and don't for get home :)
my girlfriend still thinks i'm a nerd, but at least i have my ps3 now.

Im thinking the game is called the "Agency". Im pretty excited to see how the graphics look because the All Games crew emphasized on how it was in game.

Its definitely not 'The Agency'
If the PSN will be smiling wide then I take that to me this is a PS3 only game. 'The Agency' is being developed for both the PS3 and PC.
So im fairly sure its not that.
I think we will find its a PS3 exclusive title from.... Ubisoft?

i honestly hope its either one of those, and not the agency. Nothing against MMO's, just woudlnt excite me nearly as much.
firware 2.0 brings a lotta 360 features that we need...you know what? id love to see us get more things that 360 has. Take XBL wednesdays; i know PSN's young, but can you imagine if every thursday there was actual content? id be hyped.
anyway, that's a side-note, but cant wait to see what happens tomorrow.

PlayStation 3 Firmware v. 2.00 Update Details
The new PlayStation 3 firmware update is upon us and PSU has the latest details of all the updates. Note that the update isn't available yet for download, that these are just the details of what is to come. The new features/changes are as follows:
Users
- You can now password-protect user accounts.
Settings
- [Dynamic Normalizer] has been added as an option under [Sound Settings].
- [Energy Saver] has been added as an option.
- [Equalizer] has been added as a feature under [Music Settings].
- [Full] has been added as an option for [DVD Wide Display] under [BD / DVD Settings].
- [Photo Settings] has been added as an option.
- [PS / PS2 Settings] has been added as an option.
- [RSS Channel Settings] has been added as an option.
- [Sample Rate] has been added to [Audio CD Import] under [Music Settings].
- [Screen Saver] has been expanded under [Display Settings].
- The method of selecting an output resolution has been changed in [Video Output Settings] under [Display Settings].
- [Theme Settings] has been added as an option.

Photo
- Additional slideshow effects have been added.
- [Photo Effects] have been added as a feature.
- Wallpaper feature has been added.

- CD information can now be entered.

- Files can now be played sequentially.

- Support for PlayStation 3 format software titles has been expanded.

Network

- You can now have multiple chat sessions.
- You can now select an image to use as your Avatar from [Photo].

- Date and Time is now shown when the PS button is pressed.

I wouldnt hold my breath for 2.0 fw, that was a "rumor" right before 1.80 came out.....hey I have an idea of what it could be... an official playstation iso loader.......not really...

Going by what has been said on the original forum this was posted on I would say its a game, quotes like "real-time" etc kinda give it away.
But that spec list for 2.0 is different than the one from the 2.0 list that was "leaked" before the 1.8 update so it might be legit.

Any ideas on when this announcement is happening? if its even real!
Basicly im in UK and its 15:30 so in 8 and a half hours it will be the 12th. Im assuming this annoucement is either being made in Japan or US so any ideas how long untill time runs out.
I still cant help thinking it was a stunt to make that podcast more popular, but we will see.
