who is using UP modchip???

hi sir im planing to buy a UP modchip, the devolution is too expensive. can anyone give me some idea w/ UP modchip is it gud?
im using 3.11(FW sony)can i downgrade my fw using this chip? what else can i do if i have UP modchip installed? can i install it myself? can i unbrick my psp using this? thx in advance sir!!

that modchip allows u to access the flash so yes u can downgrade and recover from a total brick. just make sure that ur mobo is old enough to work with it (ta-79/82)

mobo = motherboard.

and you probably dont know how to check your mobo version. heres a pic that will show you.

the UP has many feATURES. you can run homebrew on 3.11, unbrick your psp, and many other features. u can instal 3.30 oe-a on 3.11 with the up.

yeah go ahead it will cost more once you get it because you probably wont be brave enough to attempt to install it urself.

It seems very cheap to buy it, but for you you have about a 95% chance of breaking your psp trying to install it. Professional installation is hard too, thats why the charge about 130$ to buy it and to have it installed.

well if ur going to mod it, it ultimately depends on your PSP FirmWare. For example, are you ready to dish out 130$+ to mod your PSP 3.11 to play homebrew, or are you willing to wait a few weeks to get a downgrader? like i understand if you have like a PSP FW Version 3.50+ because its going to take a million years fo them to release a downgrader..

with 150$+ youd be better off buying a used psp with FW Ver. <2.70 than getting a mod chip, which has a high risk of converting your PSP into a paperweight..

just wait for a 3.11 downgrader, meanwhile, go buy NFS Most Wanted 510, and play online against some others and download a 100% complete savegame and have fun.

i saw some pips installing the modchip i youtube step by step, i think i wont have problem instaling it. i've been a service technician oh sharp for 10 years i used to handle component level soldering im just hoping i still got the skill =)
