I've been using recordnowmax to make my dvd's with great success, and read with trepidation all the problems that people have with other burning programs. I've tried Nero and emc; neither is without problems, both seem to need to be running all the time, and neither make disks as compatible with so many players as rnm; I haven't had a coaster in years, until now, when my burner died. I have since purchased a NEC nd-3550a which was the successor to my late 3500. The only problem is, the last update for the px drivers only included the 3500. How so I go about adding my 3550 to the list of accepted drives in the px files? or does anyone know where I can get updated px dll's that include the 3550? And last, I know that the burning engine in rnm was derived from prassi, and sonic purchased rnm. Is the burning engine in the new rnm or emc the same one as I've been using? I've only done basic and batch programming, and my only formal class was in fortran over 20 years ago. If the files need to be rewritten is there anyone that knows how to do this here, or where should I look?
