I have an unbanned 360 (i think) I have not been online since before the ban hammer dropped. But I've been playing unstealthed back ups in the mean time(off line) so Heres my ?

I'm going to flash it to the new live fw. Iextreme or w/e but should format my HD and then just re download my xbl name and try that?

Any other precautionary steps I need to take?

if you just flash with the new firmware you should not be detected. you will not need to format your hard drive. ixtream 1.2 just came out so use that and you will be fine

ok so my next ? is how should I flash it? I have a via card that I bought first time around... But what is the new way of flashing? if there is?

i would stick with what you know works, i still use the good ole fashioned mtkflash command.
