Well, I had the Halo 3 beta for a while, and then lost XBL. And, of course, you need a Gold Live account and you need to be connected to the LIVE to even start up the game.

So I'm wondering, is it possible to trick the xbox into thinking it's connected to live, to let me play? I obviously wouldn't be able to play with other people, but just to mess around with.

And if not, would it be at all possible for me to play the game through other means?

Didnt the Halo3 beta end???I think it ended the 6th, youre a little late

Because of the delay, Bungie extended it to like, Sunday night.

And if this worked, couldn't I simply keep the beta, and use it whenever (by myself, of course)?
