I bought PSP 3.11 firmware,options are?!?!

I read all the posts here and I don't see any of them with 3.11 firm.
Can someone advise me what are the possibilities with this kind of firmware and what are my options in order to play games downloaded from torrents precisely ISO's homebrews or whatever..I appreciate every advice you give me.Thanks and i am glad i am part of this gang.

ur options are
1. Wait for downgrader for 3.11+
2. Buy new psp
3. Buy new motherboard and replace it
4. Use official sony fw

There is a downgrader for 3.10 but not for 3.11? Wow nice catch lol
Anyways thanks for responding,here in Canada i bought mine in Best Buy and its all the same firmware with P letter.Wtf is that?
Where can I find other psp's,considering I 'll not be buying on ebay.
What do you mean use official sony FW?I am getting what exactly if I use that official firmware?

the officialy one is the one by sony, and im pretty sure there isnt a 3.10 downgrader, but if u have an oe u can use recovery mode and bring urself back to 1.50, im from canada too! lol. If u buy a new one however, be warned, sony is sayin the only way to stop homebrewing is to give u the psp already updated! so u may not get the psp FW version 1.00! Well everywhere in canada is like 170, so i unno....
PS official firmware only lets u play demo games, photos music etc, Opened Editions let u paly ISOs and custom fonts and backgrounds, etc.

Ok where i can get this OE and what exactly I have to do for 3.11?
Are you trying to tell me that I cant have music,videos etc with this firmware? If yes I am returning it tomorrow :)

no, no thats not it, with pretty much any version u can have that,ur only hope is to hope ur warranty is availabe, trade ur psp and pray to get one with a low fw version! 3.10+ people are out of luck untill there is a downgrader, there won't be one for a while, so u should stick to sony firmwares instead and not OE's all oe info btw.... www.dark-alex(dot)net (replace the dot with a .

I bought it thursday so its ok 30 days I have,but the thing is I have to look on the box which firmware is so recognize it by letter, assuming that seller never gona open the damn thing to show me:)
What do you suggest me to do wait or take another oneI(which version to look for)?

If you have a friend with another PSP trade it with him, first check the firmware, then trade it, also you can do some little trickies... like lend it for a night and swap whole system from one side to the other, just levae the cases, his old case with your new mobo and viceversa, just make sure he doesnt know what he is doing.

lol i bought mine about a wek ago from futureshop in mississauga and its a 3.11 i have the same problem as you :P
the most inexpensive thing to do is wait for a firmware downgrader, and it should launch soon because an exploit for 3.11 has been found so that means theyre on the verge of cracking it.
and whatever you do dont update because then your waiting time will be longer.

itll be more likely that theyll crack 3.40 or 3.30 since theres already an OE for it instead of 3.11, i think DAX forgot about that fw lol.

How you gona know which version you will buying?Maybe they will trick you on ebay and there is no chance to know about it till you receive it.I will return mine mine maybe after couple days,i'll see
