We tried to make a back up of our DVD collection, the first DVD worked on our PC and other DVD player and the other DVD stops when it gets to the language selection. Questions, why does only one dvd player work and why would the second dvd stop? We are using DVD Shrink and Nero 5.5.

the other dvd player might not be able to play backups. What brand discs are you using?

V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero

Try using the DVD UDF only option within Nero.....This I found during some trials was the best for LG standalones.....worth a go....

...............PIO is no go, DMA all the way...............

hi all

I take it the disc worked on the new version LG?

it can be down to some players! some will some wont!

but, you say it stops on language? could be how you ripped? what did you leave in? and what did you take out in shrink?

go here: http://www.chrismccann.co.uk

great guides, easy to follow! also note dvd-r disc could be faulty? try another on dvd-+rw

did you burn UDF/ISO v1.02 ???

Thx...

LG is a brand name like JVC.
