i have a sony psp verison 2.80, i wanted to know if there was any way of getting pokemon on my psp? and if so, what are all the steps for putting it on my psp?

as of now, no.

The official sony firmware 3.50 can not be downgraded to a custom version that can run homebrew software that could run that game...
