I don't know what OS (operating System) your running, here a way to find out what CD burner you have, this way works on most Windows OS, click start > Control Panel > Click System > Hardware tab > click on Device Manger, then click the little "+" next to "DVD/CD-ROM Drives" it will open a list of all the DVD/CD Drives you got installed into your system. If you got a Mac then I dunno what to say I'm a PC technician not a Mac technician. Hope this helps :) There also programs out there that can tell you more detail about your CD/DVD rom.

Are you stupid or ignorant?

The bit in the top red box is your drive model. POst that back here and we can establish your drive make or whatever.

Jeez.

Mine says "[0.0] D:\JLMS DVD-ROM XJ-HD166"

And also on imgburn when i go to booktype, at the top it says I have Philips DVD+RW DVD8601.

So i'm guessing its philips, but there is no philips option for booktyping! now what should i do?

I think it's a re-badged LiteOn, but I'm not sure completely. *I think*, you can cross flash it to a LiteOn also, with the help of some fancy firmware ;-)

Is your PC a Dell by any chance?

Your drive isn't a burner, it's a ROM Drive..

LTD (XJ-HD) - 165h / 166s

These are the latest Liteon (now JLMS) dvd-rom drives.

Lmao @ the fact someone has the nerve to actually accuse a mod of that.

If anyone's spamming/post padding it's pepsimaxx, hence ddp's displeasement.
