After looking at the Wiikey's setup disc I wonder: Is it possible to "backup" a game to an SD card like it says?
If so, How? And do all I need is a 2GB SD card?

:( They shoul make it to where you can "backup" a game into segments (since it's hard to find a cheap 5GB+ SD card)

So, essentially I can go out, rent a game, copy it in segments to ANY size SD card (the smaller the size the more segments, obviously) and go to my computer & burn it?

Alright, I'm attempting to backup one of my own games with this dump system. It has an error when reading my SD card. What format does the SD card need to be in in order for the wii to read it?

Have you read the readme in the dvddump folder of the wiikey setup v1.2?? Also are you running windows Vista?

After doing much more research I've found that nobody has been able to dump to the SD card slot, only the "Slot A" gamecube slot ( QQ ) :(
& no vista - it sucks. I might as well hop on my mac

you need an SD gecko. You can get them cheap off ebay.

Yes, you:
1. Need an SD Gecko adaptor off eBay. It won't be detected as a memory card in normal games either, so don't just assume it is broken.
2. Need to format the SD card first. It isn't just a simple format to FAT16 either, the format program sets aside a large empty file on the card, so you need to use the program.
It does work, and works well. Haven't had a problem with the 4 or 5 games I've done so far.

meh, If I'm gonna spend another $20 I'd rather get the LG drive to rip the darn thing rather than take it in segments
