i have just flashed my dbox2 with the commando 8.2 image, trouble is im now only getting freeview channels as all the others say decode pending, i have tried leaving it on s-sprts-1 to see if it updates but nothing seems to be happening so its time to ask, do i need codes ? any help would be apreciated thnx

I think the Answer to that one mate
is read then flash
Not Flash then read
Keys here if you need them
Read how to install them first though........Paul

Commando8 doesn't come with the keys installed.

Use Tuxbox to extract the keys either from a backup of your previous image or an older image (Commando 6)then FTP them onto the dbox in /var/keys, and chmod to 775



Looks like i choose the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

well i now have the keys and i know what to do with them, but now i cannot connect to my box via FTP, keeps saying log in details are incorrect

user - root
pass - dbox2

any ideas ?

when i chmod to 775 do i do this to every file i transferred into the keys folder or just the keys ?

i'll give it a try if 8.2 gives me grief, lookin good at the minute though no probs up to yet , i had the sportster image on before and the picture quality wasnt as good and i sometimes had to spend 10-15 mins flicking on and off a channel to get it to come on
