DVD read error

I am getting read error message when trying to read 360 games.
I've tried xbox creator v. 2.4 & 2.5, same scenario on both.
Have even tried remove / re-install several times but no luck.
This is issue which I had while back ago which somehow went away but it has started again.
What could be wrong?

could be 2 or 3 things, i would say that either the disks u are using are crap, your burning them to fast or the 360 drive is on its way out lol.

well hes reading and not writing so its not the discs but it could be your firmware. try upping your kreons and then you can try unlocking the drive in xbc and maybe turn off any application that is reading that drive too like a music player or something like that.
