ok cool. here is his issue. this is what he has told me so its going to be kinda blurry. he just download dvd decryptor to back up a movie he just bought. he has kids and they love to play with the disks. any way he decrypts and everything goes well, so he then uses shrink and the only thing he has changed is he took out the 5.1 AC3 files since he does not have a sound system. when he plays it in the dvd player, it plays the movie but with the directors commentary playing. he goes into the menus and tries to turn it off but even with it "turned off" it still plays it. he tried burning again with out changing anything and the burn process failed 3 times in a row. i say its a bad batch of disks from memrox but im not sure. here are his specs.

ABIT at8 32x mobo
amd 4000+
2gig ram dual channel 2-3-3-5 ddr 400
dvd burner not sure of brand. he has burned with it before.

thanx in advance
