lady in help, help please with USB ADVANCE ps2 slimline

hey im new to this forums and i found a lot of information on this site but i ahve a massive problem please can anyone help
i have PS2 SLIMLINE SCPH-70004 whihc was already chippd modded with the latest one when my dad got it in somewhere aorund end of 2006
i am able to play all my chiped games i have over 100 games and they all work untill the get scrached badly lol
And now i tried creating a USB ADVANCE CD using the help from this forum but when i insert the disk nothing happins it goes please insert playstation disk in that red disk.
i tried 3/4 times and burned the image file and the cd contains the following data after i burn it
1 DUMMY(BIN image)
2 SYSTEM.CNF
3 USBADVN.ELF
is this right !!!!
i have not connected the harddrive yet but i know how to do that the problem is i dont want to BUY HD extreme or usb extreme because i have my ps2 modded already and so many people on the forum have got USB ADVANCE to work so please can someone me kind enough to help this stupid gurl hehe lolzzzzz just if i can get the CD to run on my ps2 willl help alot thank you

OK Here is what you need to check
1.Open the SYSTEM.CNF in notepad
2.The Top Should say sumthin like "usb.elf
3.If the name of whats in the system.cnf doesn't match your elf you got a problem
also look online for a pre-made image

USBAdvanced package
Just burn the included image.
and use the PC software to transfer games to HD.

Hi all
this is my first time trying to connect my external usb hd with my slim ps2, but i don't know whats the problem:
- ps2 version : 70006 >>> I can play copied games " not original " , so is it modchiped or not ?
- I've followed all steps, but still I can't see anything more than " Play Station 2 " logo , then it turns in black
what should I do ?
* I remember that i tried once to use HD Loader and a message appeared that there is no HD inside ( i konw am using slim ps2 , but at least the cd was loaded)
please help me on this before i go crazy... thanx

if you can load copied games without using any swap discs then yes, you have a modchip.
HDloader is for internal hard drives, that is why it would not work for you. You need USB Advanced to load from an external hard drive.
also did you check to make sure it was a compatible model? they do have "PS2 hard drive compatibility" charts if you do a search.

I have a 160gb maxtor hd with enclosure USB 2.0
also I've burned 3 CDs and 2 DVDs trying to load my hard disk.
after play station 2 splash the screen becomes black and no usb advance is loaded
I've tried it all " usbadvance, hdloader, and even swapmagic 3.6 "
my slim ps2 version is v12 what should I do exactly ??
if there is anyway to make it works, then please tell me .. thanks again

i want you to tell me if there is anyway to make my slim ps2 V12 (70006) works with the usb Hdd ..
it is already with mod chip ( I bought it from dubai also )
but after Play Station Splash nothing is going on ( black screen )
is it that Usb Advance CD not working fine or it is my slim ps2

Are you sure that 70006 is V12 CAUSE i have'nt seen it listed among V12s in various places.
I Think it is v14.
The problem maybe that your modchip(TELL US IF YOU KNOW WHICH IS IT)
is outdated and does'nt support USB HDD.
Tell US which CD are you talking about(the SKSapps or any else)
First try to get uLaunchELF (4.12) avilable at SKSapps.com
Here
load this CD after buring it.
Also chk out tuts on how to use uLaunchELF from there(fairly easy).
Thn reply back with your progress for further info.

Thank you very much, uLaunchELF (4.12) is working fine and I've launched the SMS ( media player ) and I could play mp3's and DivX files
... ,but !! the USBADVN.ELF " sksapps.com package " is not loaded ( black screen )
if there is another software to launch games from usb HDD then i'll be much happier

Unfortunatly this is the only UP-TO-DATE app for Playing games off USB HDD.
Try and take USBAdvanced's .ELF file and put it in your MCard or USB drive and try to load it from ule4.12 like you did with SMS.
(Try that with a dvd ir cd in your PS2.)
this should work.
