With Swap Magic 3.8 (Coder), you can select between which display mode, NTSC or PAL. When playing a PAL game, the screen corrects itself, but the Aspect Ratio doesn't change. Is there any setting that allows you to play a PAL game with the correct Aspect Ratio?

You could try changing the display settings from your ps2 browser and see what you can come up with, that's just a stab in the dark though I don't really know much about SM, always used chips.

It could also have something to do with you playing a PAL game on an NTSC TV.

The only methods I know how to adjust that could be a PAL to NTSC convertor, depending on if your TV supports doing such and such like adjusting the screen resolutions, ratios and so forth or a mod-chip that can force a Y-resolution fix.
