A long time ago, i did something very stupid. So now when i boot up my xbox i get error 21. When i boot it with a disc in, it plays. And i have a CD-RW that i can write ISO's to it if makes any difference. I just want to fix my xbox so i have access to XBL. HOw do i do it?

Error 21 is a corrupt dash. If you have a newer 'real' Xbox game, insert it and try to access XBLive. It will update your dash. If that doesn't work, you can start the softmod process, when you get to the softmod screen you can FTP a new, clean 5960 dash to your C:\. Make sure to delete the entire contents of C:\ before writing the new one, don't just overwrite.
The other option is to hotswap and follow the same process as the FTP.
