Hi guys not sure this is in the right place but here goes, is there anyway to make the xbox 360 do HDMI output, make like a converter box or something so i can use it on my new panasonic viera 42inch hd televison.
dont know if it would work or even look very good, but you can get the vga adapter and get a vga to dvi adapter for that then get a dvi to HDMI adapter and that should work.
y would you want a cable that converts to HDMI? u like to throw away money? if HDMI isn't stright out of the unit then a cable that converts to HDMI does nothing. so unless that new TV ONLY excepts HDMI use the componets or VGA.
personally i have the VGA on my Samsung 56" DLP and the picture quality is great. HDMI is nice but there is not enough picture quality difference to really worry too much about it.

whoa so u took the component cable coming out of 360 and connected it to a HDMI adapter cord and there was a big difference?
