i have been away from the psp community for quite sometime now and still have a 1.50 psp. I now want to upgrade my psp to the latest sustom firmware, it is my understanding tha 3.40 OE-A is the latest. What is the easiest way to upgrade my psp from 1.5 to 3.40 OE-A.
Also is there anything i need to do before upgrading eg unflash devhook or wipe memory card?

use this. this is the easiest way to get 3.40oea.i used this myself

connect the psp and run the program.after that go to game menu in ur psp
and install the program.

cool i just done it, i used the manuel install can i now delete the installer and update maker from my psp

yes you may, in fact its best you format your memory stick, so it will create the proper folders for you.
