1.Convert the download to DVD.

http://dl.afterdawn.com/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_v0.5.2b.exe
Import the file(s) (AVI, MPEG, VOB)
Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD.
Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv)
Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)

Burn dvd with 'ImgBurn'

http://www.imgburn.com/

Run ImgBurn
Mode > 'Build'
Output > 'Device'
File > 'Browse for Folder', highlight on the 'VIDEO_TS' folder, > 'OK'
Click the green write button.

2. If you wish to play the AVI files on a standalone player it has to be 'DivX' compatible.

3.To burn simple DVD video and CD audio compilations, Nero is eminently suitable.

Nero is the burner counterpart of Windows.

A basic , simple answer. If you have files that are in AVI or MPEG format then you can burn these to DVD using NeroVision...no conversion is necessary, heres a very basic guide on how I burn mine.

I use and recommend version 7.5.9.0
