I am trying to convince my parents that a mod chip is a good thing. I need some credible info that mods are legal and some good uses for them besides pirating software!

xbox mod chips allow you to backup your games and play those backups in case your little sister uses your $50 copy of soul calibur 2 for a frisbee or something.
