shit guys.my fren screwed me up when i was in the bath! he updated my psp to 3.5. i know tat sux. can any of u tell me around when will the downgrade b available? i mean roughly a date

There isnt even a 3.10/3.11 downgrader..........yet. So it would be hard to tell a date for a downgrader for fw3.50. Sry. =[

ya dude,, if i were u this would be longggggggggggggggggggggg wait,, maybe 4 months atleast.... they still have to make downgraders for 3.10, 3.11, 3.30, 3.40, and if ur VERY VERY VERY lucky 3.50 but i doubt it dude,,, just get a new psp already and downgrade it to 1.5

yeeboon, just sell your current psp and buy another, unless you want to trade then replace the screen yourself. the screens can be bought off ebay for $35AUD a pop, and $50AUD for pnh = $85AUD. (only if you want a new screen. weigh your circumstances and decide.

instead of swapping the psp for a cracked lcd one, just exchange motherboards.

suxs.i went to the second hand store n they told me only gonna buy it from me for SGD$100~150 thats like so not worth it cuz i got it two months ago at SGD$290. ps. will mod chip save me?

not really you would be spending at least 150$+ to mod it just to play a few downloaded games? you'd be better off selling your PS for about 150 and using the 150 you would spend on a mod chip to get a fully loaded PSP (custom software, PSPGlove, a 4GB Memory stick if u can squeeze it in).

there is a 3.40 downgrader but it wont be released till november or somtin but i dont think 3.50 downgrader at least for another year

Yeah right and im Santa Clause...no seriously There is no downgrade for any version above 3.03.And im confident when i say this that no one here knows when one will be released cause thats totally up to the skilled hackers and coders and they im sure have normal life's like the rest of us so they don't spend their whole life in front of a pc creating downgrades.
Just sell your psp and pick one up from ebay thats all or trade it for one with custom firmware or lower version.

not everyone can lose that amount of money, because if you were to trade it in you would only get less than half the price you bought it for, and then you will have to buy a new one so for many ppl, the wise choice is to wait

You don't have to buy a brand new psp. I got a used one on ebay with version 1.5 on it for $145 USD and upgraded from there. I've been fortunate that it has worked flawlessly. Some people are leary of ebay and recommended checking out other sites...
