hey, so on the latest firmware....i dont know what this does. Can the PS3 find my PC now over a network or something? Im honestly unfamaliar here. Both the PC and PS3 are on the same router, but when i tell it to search (the option under movies, music etc) i get nothing. How does this work?

You need to enable sharing through windows media, or use something like TVersity.

Hi.
Install .net 2.0 and download Media Connect.
Alot of people have been saying you need media player 11 but i have media player 10 and can stream all MP3's no probs.

i cant get help anywhere why wont my pc see my ps3 Nero doesnt detect it wmp11 doesnt detect it and windows media connect doesnt detecet it HELP ME PLEASE ive made similar posts elsewhere please help me

Could you possible have a firewall on your PC or built into your router - if so you may need to forward some ports.
