I downloaded WiiBrickBlocker and I used it on Mario Strikers Charged. It said it was completed but I dont know what "patch" it installed.I downloaded it off the site everyone says to use is it the NTSC-U patch?
I am useing a cyclowiz v2 Mod I run Mario Party 8 Flawlessly
Use this area to discuss the Allstars release of Strikers/PAL, rather than filling up the notes. After the dust settles, a summary can be put into the notes. -- Dsbomb 02:22, 26 May 2007 (CEST)
1. Works fine for Wiifree, Chiip, Wiinja Deluxe and Wiikey
2. It must be patched for Cyclowiz
3. The auto-update may ruin the Wii Settings if you don't have the latest (v2.2U or v2.2J) update from Nintendo. (See pic)
Strikers Online is also working on modded Wii's in the U.S. and Canada. The servers have been off and on the last few days, but U.S. and Canada Wii's will connect and play the same as PAL machines.
-- Wanted to say I have a Cyclowiz 3.0 updated, and I was at 2.2U, let the disc update run, and it works fine without patching the Allstars release. Not sure why mine worked and the others didn't?
I have 2.2U so it will not brick my Wii It just says it has to be patched but under it someone said they didnt have to patch it any verification
Quote:the wii blocker removes the code in the iso that contains the update as far as i can gather but doesnt alter the region
All the Wii Brick Blocker does is change a string in the boot sector of the Game Disc so it skips the update all together. As Thinone said it has nothing to do with the region of the disc.

BTW, hard to find DL link to WiigionFree 1.0 :(
I dont see why it would be WiigionFree is to make it compatible with any region for the wii. WiiBrickBlocker just changes the update patch for it. I do not see why it would be harmfule
