help flash w/ iprep Samsung ms25

I have a samsung ms25 drive, I had someone flash my drive w/ xtreme 5.3
now i have my own VIA chipset and want to update my firmware to ixtreme 1.2
but I dont know how to get my seriel number, I installed a boot disc, it booted my xbox 360, and i typed iprep......

nothing happens it just says fill in the infoprmation i am trying to have sent to my boot disc!!!

is there another program I should be using to flash, an easier way maybe?

yeah, use extreme boot maker and use the mtkflash commands.

i just used mtk flash from the iprep disk, but there was no original.bin file after i typed "mtkflash r /m orig.bin" when i booted to windows again nothing was in the backup dir, where can I download boot maker?

PS I also cannot aee all of the text when it boots up, is there some way to get the disc to boot in proper windows 98 screen format?

to get xbm you need to get on xbins. google easy xbins and download the thing you get in the first result and run the command and it will connect you to xbins and you can download it from the 360 section, it should work with full text unless your monitor is messed up, it works fine for me.

I downloaded xbm, I typed mtkflash r /m orig.bin again nothing happened it asksed me to choose a master or slave IDE drive, i choose 1, then i get a line after that sayong 170/something engind with :a0
then prompt again.
these a few thoings i might be gdoing wrong I need someone to correct me if it i wrong:
should I type some sort of "A:\" for my path destination

should I do this boot disc thing with my xbox plug in?

should I choose slave instead of master?

if its configured right it should say extreme something as a number and then you pick it. its make sure your card settings are right, raid has to be turned off.

I am using mtkflash and I have changed commands from orig to hacked because there is no orig bin on my Drive (flashed with xmtreme 5.3)

But I cannot get the SATA VIA VT6421 to show up in the choice drive menue in DOS

I have tryed many different lines of "mtkflash r /m/ /sata hacked/orig.bin" I have the newest drievrs for my SATA Card too.

where do I go to diable RAID? I read that a crutial part of getting the SATA Card to show up when conected to the 360 is to do this, but i have no Idea where this option is to diable RAID.
