Thanks for the replies, but i'm afraid this method doesn't appear to work on my phone. I reset the phone with no sim, the phone boots to a msg Insert SIM card. I type in the number here.. enter the code as instructed and nothing magic happens at all. It just remains as a normal number - i.e. it doesn't trigger anything when I enter the final #
Is this usual? Am i doing something wrong?

1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)
ENTER CODE WITH OUT SPACES
Remove sim first, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
