Im confused with the iso burning (flashing the bios) help please

hi
Im following step by step a guide to flash bios for first time (X-c2.2 L)
this guide tells me to download and burn
1-Ozxchip.iso to a Cd-RW as burn image (done)
(disk 1)
2-make the bios as 1mb bios and add a dummy file to add size and make it .iso
burn it as image file with nero (done)
(disk 2)
ok
Im confused because my pc should not read the media files(after burned) that xbox can read am I right?
after created those 2 CD's
my pc can read them
like what files are inside or just as if I burned'em like drag and drop files
I have'nt tried them on my xbox yet
Im asking first if Im doing it right
thanx for any response
PD:I used X2_4977.bin for the bios
good? bad? buggy? or something?
also I have the
EvoX D.6 EjectFix.bin , EvoX D.6.bin and X2_4977.bin
what's the better to use on X-ecuter 2.2 Lite??

Unless the iso is not an xISO.But a normal iso that a PC can read.Just try to flash it like that.

I just tried'em
and nothing happen
says something like bios not found halting?
a question
If I just slap the evox install slayer? DVD-R
will I screw it up?

It shouldn't boot at all.IF you got ur chip with cromwell BIOS.You will have to flash some other BIOS in order to run unsign code.

Follow the steps below!

It works great for me..
MAKING THE FLASH CD. Look, ignore those outdated tutorials using OZXFLASH. You don't need that anymore, You really hacked dont need it.. the new cromwell can flash on its own.
1) Download a good hacked bios from the usual sources. I suggest the X24977.bin(256K) bios, really works!
2) FLASH ONLY one of the two banks! That way if you mess it up you can reboot to cromwell and try again. Here's how:
3) FIRE UP X2BE. Choose 512k bios. Yes, 512k, not 1mb! Fill in the first two banks with your X2 hacked bios that you downloaded. Then save the results as bios.bin (the default file.)
4) BURN IT. Get Nero and a blank CDRW. Take a 100mb random file on your HDD. Rename it to 0dummy.bin.( I use winzip to compile my file about 100MB and save it as winzip.. it worked also)The 100MB file I used MP3 songs and compile as Odummy.zip file.
Add this file and your bios.bin file to your compilation. Burn at 2x, DAO/96, FINISH CD. This is your BIOS CD.
5) FLASH IT. Turn off your XBOX. Set the external switches to "ENABLED, BANK 2, UNPROTECTED." Turn it on and get cromwell. When it prompts, drop in your newly minted bios CD. Wait for it to do its thing. When its done, it will turn off the XBOX.
6) USE IT. With the power still off, set the external switches to "ENABLED, BANK 1, PROTECTED." Say a quick prayer and turn on your XBOX. You should get a flubber with the Xecutor 2 message. Congrats!
IF YOU EVER NEED TO REFLASH, just set the external switches, with the power off, to "ENABLED, BANK 2, UNPROTECTED" . Then turn on your XBOX. It should boot into Cromwell and you can then reflash your bios.

I cant get it to work
this was supposely to be the easy part of the setup but its the hardest
thanx anyway man
I made the bios.bin(512)(X2_4977 )
Made the 0dummy.bin (112mb)
made the ISO, Mode 1, 9660 with Nero Disk At Once 2X speed,joliet,allow path,allow more than 255 charact... ,
burn it at 2X
when inserting the Cd on XBOX
chip : enabled
chip : unprotected
chip : bank 2
after loading
the tray open
and again the same message appears
(( please insert CD with bios update ))
that's all it does
the CD media im using is the same I use
when ripping songs to the XBOX hdd
when doing the ISO
I burn it as burn compilation
do I have to save the ISO 9660 to my HDD and burn from there??
Is time to go to work

I personaly burn cd-rw @ 10x with no dummy file and it worked for me.Try increase you dummy file to 500mbs.Check if that works.

Make sure you burn with the correct steps..
MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE CDRW NOT CDR
1. Go to Nero.. Burn Image. Do no choose joliet
the rest is the same.
Put the bios.bin on top
Below the dummy file
then burn it..
It should be okay now

Can someone email me where to get the X24977.bin(256K) bios. I bought a Xucuter 2.2 lite plus and I installed it it works, well the part about "please insert flash bios cromwell thing. Please email me @ somestrangechild@yahoo.com

Yaaaaaaayyy I got mine working to thanks to ELVER_GUN and the things that sdfile said. Now all I have to do is install evolution X which i need more info on.
