first, i changed my icons on my XMB and my font then later on it just turned dark, but the screen is still on. i tried pushing the brightness key but nothing happened. after , I turned off my psp , ran recovery and did the EBOOT. what am i supposed to do now?

You probobly flashed to much stuff in your flash0 before making sure u have enough free space in there.Before u flash anything on your psp the rule of thumb is to make sure you free enough space on your flash0 by using for instance Flash Agent.
Did u back up your flash0 before you started to mess around with it?Anyway if you want to roll back to 1.5 then get a hold of the recovery files and place then on the root of your mem stick in a folder called recovery.
